Welcome to Leaf's Nation, where grief and humour collide. You never know which side the tears are coming from.

If the Leafs pull off the comeback Boston will be the first team in the history of the NHL, NBA and MLB to lose 3-1 series leads in back to back seasons.

I'm hoping they lose now. I think it's what's needed for the Bruins to finally clean house in upper management. Neely and Sweeney need to go. Get a strong GM with actual drafting skill. That's whats killing the team in this series. Not enough offensive talent and that can be traced back to all the subpar drafts.

Leafs logic: "Hey, we just won 2 straight games without Matthews and with Woll in net. Game 7 we should put Matthews in (injured?) and Samsonov back in net." :ugh:

Woll is injured. Practiced today and then it was determined he wasn't ready. Apparently he hyperextended something late in game 6.

Matthews supposedly had some kind of stomach flu and lost 15lbs as a result... not sure I would be rushing him back in after that but guess we'll see what happens.

Matthews in on the 3rd line, playing like 10 second shifts and still looks like he shouldn't be in this game.

Great game to watch. Pasta probably the last person the Leafs wanted to see all alone in OT.

Stating the obvious but it's awesome that Monty called him out, he was quiet all game, then delivered the death blow. Did exactly what was needed of him in the end.

Also, Swayman is killing it.

He looked like he was playing with a lot more conviction at the start the game, slowed down once he took that big hit next to the Leaf net.

I was watching Return of the Jedi during intermission, lost track of time, and flipped back too late to see the OT goal. Figures.

Doesn't matter. The Bruins are so offensively inept right now that Florida will dispose of them easily and then they can fire Sweeney and the rest of management.
