... Love the simplicity of it...View attachment 132523
My TV setup, where I end up doing a lot of playing/creating these days while multi-tasking taking in movies due to lack of spare time. But I didn't slack on this rig.
MkIV Wide Body (Mesa Black Shadow C90) + Thiele with EVM12L. Usually play it in Tweed mode, which is a mere 30 watts, but 30 BIG ones.
Fender American Performer - My favorite guitar for cleans. So simple, so pure. Was thinking at one time about getting some expensive, ultra slick Klein Jazzy Cats pickups and making it even more of a clean specialist, but why? Everything already sounds great to me 100% stock through every amp, especially the MkIV.
Boss DD500 - Becoming my favorite delay lately. Very clean, a noticeable improvement in clarity over my old DD-20, although I wish it had Warped mode....
Victory The Jack Preamp - Real tubes. Best through the effects loop and can act as 2 more channels to your amp, but the tonality is so different than the MkIV, I usually just pick one or the other for that day. One of the best feeling and sounding lead channels ever. If the MkIV has solid steel balls, the Victory has bell brass balls, very musical. One of these days, I'll probably pick up the Super Jack head and Victory vert 2x12.
Boss PS-6 Harmonist - My newest. Bought this as a challenge to myself to explore some new oceans. There is a lot to learn to take full advantage of the potential of this, and may force me to do a little research. But mostly, I will explore until I start finding something I like, all cleans for now. I love how you can hit an old, familiar standby chord but it sounds like that chord being played on another planet. But you have to set it up right, or everything can sound like microwaved gibberish. I've always loved the harmonized lines from Maiden, Priest, and others they inspired, etc, and this can do that and a lot more live also with one guitarist. I'm approaching it with the mindset of what would Adrian Belew ('70s Bowie and '80s King Crimson eras), Trevor Rabin, '80s Vai, '80s Steve Howe, and others do? And I'll throw in a little Alex Masi and Reeves Gabrels/Tin Machine chaos later when I get into distortion.... This could come in handy later when I finally get around to re-recording my version of Rosso Profundo (aka Deep Red, neo-gothic horror movie theme song with GREAT improv jam potential).
I demand to be tagged when that is posted. Please and thank you in advance!View attachment 132523

The cab game is STRONG!UPDATE:
After a friend and her son had an apartment fire at the end of the summer I was prompted to move my "man hole" (wife's name, not mine) into the den. This afforded me much more space while sacrificing privacy. Since then I've been plotting and organizing and purchasing things here and there all for a.long term plan.
So this is the start of my "wall of sound". It's modest by many of your standards. The left is my down sized bass rig, sans the dBX 160X that is.on loan. Originally was 2 Bag End 4x10 and 2 Bag End 1x18 powered by 2400 watts of class D QSC power amps. The real gem is the Demeter tube pre amp. Before medical conditions forces my retirement, this was what I played most every day.
The middle is my "modern" guitar rig. I'll be adding a second 2x12 cab. Kyle Rhodes is simply a genius.
Finally is my "doom" that may of you helped me build. Thank you all for your sage advice.
Now, to build the pedal boards!

The off center amp heads are giving me OCD. Cool rig, but OCD nonetheless. (We'll have to cut me some slack until I can grab a rack, etc. for the new setup)World Eaters View attachment 134108
