I was so disappointed when they broke up. They were truly underrated.

They came and played one of the shittiest clubs in my area, and had the best quality I had ever heard in a show (aside from the pa which was the clubs). First time I had heard the evh 5150iii. What a beast of an amp.

Without reading through the whole thread I'm sure these haven't been posted yet:

Himsa (my avatar)
Brad Paisley (plays radio country but the guy can play, and his tone is incredible)
Scott Hull
Mike Einziger
Brian Eschbach

Could think of more but those are the first that come to mind.

I'd say Slice the Cake is very under rated. I know for a fact most people won't give them the light of day just because their name is so ridiculous but these dudes are probably one of the best progressive deathcore bands out at the moment IMO

Agreed, "the man with no face" is an awesome song.

Arsis and Pain of Salvation. Inanimate Existence is a pretty good new band I've been getting into lately that I've never heard someone else talk about. Intronaut deserves some more attention IMO

Ya fvcking arsis. Unwelcome is an amaze album

Lykathea Aflame are hardly underrated. In fact, I think their one of the most unanimously praised bands in death metal. I mean, granted you can't always safely judge a band by their Metal Archives score, but it's got a 97% with 20 reviews written for it. Which frankly I agree with the band was ....ing amazing. They may not be at the same level of fame as some of these acts that have been running for 20 years and such, but considering the band is from Czech and had only one release ever I think they're doing pretty damn well for themselves!

I think this band are very 'underrated' in that they have incredibly tight riffage, yet are relatively unknown in the metal scene. :hbang:

Also they're a 3 piece band, which is cool
