    I prefer metal, but, I'm really enjoying playing along with other genres. I'm just curious if there are any country musicians that regularly use a 7+, not including a lap steel guitar I have my lone 8-string in FA#FA#D#FA#D#, because of Monuments, but I'm seeing this become pretty versatile.

    How to get used to playing different guitars?

    I enjoy my collection, but I've also been taking a look/feel at the action--and I need to tweak my Squire HSS. I guess the overall would be make sure you've set your guitars up well along with playing them to make sure they stay that way if you need to get a feel on it.

    I haven't researched them a ton, but I do like the Korn vibes. I'm not expecting them to be a doppelganger for Korn, so if they don't diverge at some point, it won't bode well. Also, I'm a big Korn fan.

    Update: I've been working for a helicopter sound. The AADF#AD (and I assume shifting) works very well, especially using single coil pickups. Using a Squier Bullet with a GFS Crunchy PAT bridge. I'm also exploring some Monuments tabs.
