Feet hand - thanks autocorrect. Schecter make great guitars. Back when I first got a 7 string, I was 17 or so and it took a bit for me to get used to it. I tried an Ibanez 8 string and nope, couldn't do it lol
John5. His vids will occasionally show up on my Instagram newsfeed and I always enjoy his playing. In this one, he's ripping a catchy fun solo, gets a phone call and doesn't miss a beat and just keeps tastefully shredding
One thing I've done, I download pictures that I've already uploaded to FB. Original file on my phone is like 5mb to 10mb each, but downloading it from FB scales it down to 1mb or under and able to upload to SSO. But of a hassle, but it works.
I can't remember the brand as it was 2011, probably 3M epoxy. It took a while to set, once it solidified it was really smooth - I used some sandpaper on it to rough it up for the red paint hold on very well.
My bastardized Fender Stagemaster 7 string. Originally was blue with dual direct mounted DiMarzio Air Norton humbuckers, a gross blue finish with the fat Strat body shape. I took the body to a band saw, reshaped the horns and also the headstock, filled in the neck pickup cavity and threw in a...
That was cool.
When I read the title, my mind instantly thought "1999 Korn tone vs Korn with dubstep tone" when they did the god awful albums without Head when Davis added Skrillex style EDM to their sound.
I think he was moreso referring to the hardtail bridge. I was going to comment the same thing about the Jackson superstrat, then realized it has a 1500 series Floyd Rose.
Right before Jeff Loomis and Keith Merrow did the Conquering Dystopia project, they did a couple of "Jam Up Bro" videos that I still love to this day.
Jeff and Keith. Merrow's white Bernie Rico 7 string is sick!
Jeff and Keith with special guest, our favorite YouTube 7 string Chugmaster Ola...
Loomis and Broderick are fucking insaaaaaaaane live! I love how you can hear the tonal difference between Jeff's EMG 707 active pickups vs Broderick's (probably) DiMarzio passive pickups - sterile & cold vs smooth & silky.
I heard he went back to university and got a degree in something, at least that's what one of the members said on one of the Gigantour Megadeth festival dvds.
One video recently uploaded showing his new Jackson Kelly model with a Hipshot fixed bridge was a subtle and funny "fuck you" to AE...
"Hello, I'm Jeff Loomis of Arch Enemy" and proceeds to play old school Nevermore hahaha
I would LOVE IT if he joined Megadeth in the future! Jeff playing Marty's solos live? Imagine him doing the Tornado of Souls solo!
Also, he did an audition for Megadeth when he was 16, but MegaDave thought he was too young
From Arch Enemy's Facebook page.
"Arch Enemy announce amicable split with Jeff Loomis, enlist guitarist Joey Concepcion.
Arch Enemy and long running member Jeff Loomis have amicably parted ways.
Arch Enemy founder and chief songwriter Michael Amott comments: “It’s been a joy having Jeff...
