have you opened it up and checked any of the components? maybe the input jack has come loose and thats why it doesnt respond to anything? just a thought :)

I've heard a good way to strengthen necks and reduce the possibilty of warping is to saw it lengthwise into 3 long strips, flip the center strip to have the grain flow in the opposite direction and then glue them back together again (from ///////////// grain pattern to /////\\\\\/////)...
Yeah most of the ibanez necks start at 400mm and get flatter, so that translates to approx. 15.75" and up. I really like the feel of these necks too but in the end I think whatever you find the most comfortable is going to be the easiest for you to play. So if you like the nice flat ibby necks...
