"If there are four power tubes they are often in matched pairs - inner pair, and outer pair. Replace the inner pair, then the outer pair, rather than go left-to-right." -Micky Z This quote was taken from a website called Guitarhow.com specifically from a section called basic tube amp...

Powerball V1 with a JJ 12AT7 in the v6 = f***ing amazing! I love the tonal difference i'm getting out of the amp now, the cleans are alot cleaner and warmer, the crunch is better but not brilliant imo, but the two gain channels 3 & 4 sound superb to me! I've recorded some before and after riffs...

    Guitarist trying to program drums

Some great stuff here, I would like to add that learning how to read and write drum tabs helped me out given my limited drum experience, and you can only get better through practice and focusing on how you want the drums to support the riff! =)

Drum mixing/programming guide for guitar players!

^ This is almost exactly my workflow too. Write song in GP, when done either copy drums to a separate guitar pro file or just export the drums as midi (sometimes both incase i decide to go back to make big changes quicker to the drum beat if nesscessary). Sometimes it's helpful to look at the...

    Programming questions..

I'm a Guitar pro guy when it comes to songwriting as a whole, once the idea is completed I'll make a "band demo" with that as a guide for the rest of the band to hear. I do also have some knowledge of how the instrument works (drums of course) from my own attempts at holding down a beat as well...

Bring your programmed drums to life!

This s*** needs to be stickied. some awesome stuff from the TS. (Y) I hope to put some of this to use in cubase via the use of the logical editor (given the how and values he has described to change). Hope to get some band demo re-records done which i'm currently doing on my new recording pc...

I have two of the same model (audio technica) because originally my intention was to lend one to the previous guitarist of the band i play for but since he left the band and we switch between two tunings throughout our set, i thought i might as well keep it since each work on different...

Right Guys (n girls of course...) I'm gonna be in the market for a 'Y' box of some kind for both of my floor-based wireless systems to feed into real soon, currently I'm using the Boss LS-2 atm for this function but i'm thinking i may want to upgrade to something 'better' in the future any...

Can someone either explain (w/ photos) how to get into the PB (V1) and change tubes over? either i'm shit and can't use google properly, or that there doesn't seem to be decent online resource of which to find out how to get into the amp to do the changes? I'd really like to reduce the...
