    Spot on, also see this thread +1 I wouldn't say it would be thin - especially in a mahogany guitar (see thread above) - but it will definitely be crunchy, not tight like an EMG.

    Don't have first-hand experience with pod or G Major, but i can tell you having just bought one, that the 11R is not amazing for effects only. Sure, the effects sound good, but choice is very limited. From literature online, looks like G Major 2 would be the way to go. Any B-stock on thomann ?

    Avoid green, cheapest and have issues with spinning down - can't be disabled. WD Red Pro or Black. HGST Deskstar No, it's a price thing. Sweet spot right now is 2TB or 4 TB, don't bother with 1TB. Even 6TB are fine, I would not go for 8TB though, they're too new.
