Far from shitting on a paying customer bud. Give it a break!
I've contributed plenty of helpful information to this thread. Customer service does not "suck" and Fluence is a new technology so It's gonna take a minute to get everyone 80 years worth of wiring schemes. We are devoted to...
I've spent countless hours in sessions analyzing/listening to the delta between so many "coveted" wire wound pickups from other manufacturers. To be honest, there are some that sound terrific and most (same brand/same pickup) that don't sound nearly as close. When you think about it, winding a...
Marc was using Fishman pickups and I think still is. Kiesel loves to push their pickups (I don't blame them) so I wouldn't be surprised if he uses both.
Thanks for checking out the content and I totally understand if V2 on the Modern set is not your thing. Honestly, i can understand if you're not a fan of the feel and sound of blades. Most people are not so I can see how that sound may turn you off. There are so many awesome sets that are 1000%...
Send them an email at support@fishman.com Not a fanboy, you just haven't described anything that is a "problem" What is your actual issue? it's easy to be an internet terrorist but if so, at least state your grievances.
It's actually not confusing and if I'm wrong, please send me the links that you're suggesting that there's and issue. I'm assuming you're talking about Fishman's Single Width set vs. the HSS/HSH/HS set
Those are two different products and are identified under each one individually. All...
That is a specific wiring scheme and can be done! If it were me, I would get a 5-way super switch and get all the cool "in between" positions. If you wanna see examples, check out how Tosin Abasi does it.
So a company's customer support is in "shambles" because you can't read and interpret a wiring diagram? I'm looking on their site now, seeme like there is plenty of variations to choose from. ♂️
Totally understandable. During the early days, Fishman gave a few basic setups for people to digest and change if needed. The general concepts and wire descriptions are always in the install guides so it shouldn't be hard to change them for your setup. Over time, Fishman has added more guides...
Again, we have multiple variations on the site and if you can't read of follow the diagrams, take it to someone that is licensed to do so. The principals on how you would wire a Fluence guitar isn't too foreign from any other brand. Not sure why you can't figure it out?
Maybe an EMG quick...
What is specifically "garbage" about the diagrams? I've installed tons of these pickups into my guitars. If you know what you're doing, it's simple stuff.
As i stated below, keith's bridge pickup is custom voiced. When he played on our classic neck pickup, he couldn't imagine better neck voicings. This is exactly what he demanded for his custom pickup set. Fishman gave keith crestive freedom to do whatever and this is what he arrived at.
