I am putting up for sale one of my all time favorites, my 95' Les Paul Standard :ugh:. This has been one of my longest owned guitars & my absolute favorite Les Paul ever, I have owned a custom, two standards & a classic & this one trumped them all, which is probably why it stayed while all the others didn't. I bought this guitar in 2000-2001 from a good friend who needed to part with it to pick up another custom. I already owned a custom & wasn't over the moon with it & was ready to move on to other brands, but he told me to just give this guitar a shot before I did. I loved the honeyburst right away because it wasn't as common as the heritage cherry bursts that were everywhere at the time. Within 5 minutes of playing it I knew I had to have it. So I bought it right there & then.
I toured with this guitar as my main axe from 2001 until 2005. This baby held up in every climate/condition I brought her into, & held tunings better than every other band who we toured with who used Les Pauls. Being that it was toured with for so long it took its fair share of bumps & bruises along the way, but I always felt like it added to the guitar's already massive MOJO. This guitar has always been kept-up well, setups, re-frets, electronics replacement, etc. Before this guitar leaves to it's new home I am going to get the guitar professionally setup once again so that the new owner gets the guitar in its best possible playing & looking condition.
Back in 2004' the guitar was in a rack at my band's rehearsal studio underneath the window. My band members decided one day to hand lighting equipment from the window which in turn brought down the lighting equipment & the heavy metal rod above it. All of these which landed on the guitar rack & cracked my headstock. I was pretty upset by this but thankfully was able to take the guitar to a specialist who reset/re-glued the neck. Strangely enough, after the neck was repaired it played more in tune than ever! Weird right? But it did. Thankfully the specialist did great looking work too, so the crack is pretty hard to see unless you get close & darn near impossible to even feel.
After I received the guitar I replaced the Seymour Duncan JB in the guitar with a Motor City Garuda (which I am keeping) but I put back in the stock Gibson humbucker, which sounds hot & slammin' as well! I am including the Seymour Duncan into the deal as well just as an added bonus.
I love this guitar. I know I am going to regret letting this one go, I love her lots but she hasn't got nearly the play she has deserved over the last few years & it deserves to go to a home where it will be loved & played daily. Any questions or concerns will be addressed immediately.

Flaws : This is a toured guitar so it has plenty of bumps & dings. Neck cracked in 04' & was professionally repaired (not cheap but plays more in tune then ever). This guitar was NEVER abused but was toured across the states with so it has your typical strap rash, belt buckle knicks, & headstock wear. Finish wearing off on back of neck from all the play this guitar has had (a good thing). Compared to a lot of mojo'd out les pauls I have seen though, this is NOTHING. I toured with this guitar from 2001 - 2005 & it held up each & every time. Holes from where the original tuners were removed before the guitar came to me. Case has old band initial sprayed on it 'D' (sorry but on tour needed to keep track of things), case is road worn (still works just fine & locks & closes & stays in tact & everything, just does not look brand new...because it ain't)

I tried to capture all the flaws on the guitar but it is hard to capture most them, they are mostly all only visible up very close even then you have to be in the right light to see them.

Not interested in any trades at this time as I have my eye on something special with an extra string on it. I will ship this guitar anywhere on the buyer's expense. (Meaning, US preferred but if the buyer is overseas & wants to pay the shipping costs, I will ship it). As soon as the guitar is purchased I will take it down the my repair guy & have it all done up (this should take one day at most) & then will ship the following day (as long as the money has cleared).

Paypal only.

What kind of shape are the frets in?
Very good shape (zero flat spots or issues of any kind), I have had the frets professionally leveled & polished several times over the years & will have them touched up once again right after the guitar is bought so the new owner gets the best possible playing guitar ever, from frets, to fretboard, from electronics to well...you get the idea
