Yeah back ordered. My question is does BCR actually ever ship them? I can ask the sales guys but they are gunna just tell you it won’t be long even if it’s like 8 months or more away lol.
I ordered one (chuck, not regular stealth) through red blanket guitars 5 months ago. I've asked them more than once what's the ETA, they have no clue. Also it seems like they don't even know what guitars they're getting in advance; they get pallets from BCR, open them, and find out.

Yeah that is what I figured would be the case. I am considering getting a Chuck Stealth too. I wonder if it’s worth getting it plek’ed if I order from Sweetwater.

They've been saying "expected in a few weeks"....for months....

If I had faith in the schedule, I would have already ordered a Legacy Mockingbird with Floyd months ago.

Eff it, got in line at Sweetwater. The queue for the Chuck Stealth is 35 there if you are curious. Went ahead and got the plek service as well since exchanging one with bad frets will mean there is unlikely to be a replacement. Plus I am kinda cursed with getting new guitars with lots of buzz. I am fully expecting this to take 6 or more months.

Surely Sweetwater will get some of the rare "new" BCRs by Black Friday?? Or at least Christmas??

:ugh:

Hahaha. Highly doubt it. You would think since Sweetwater is so large they would get priority from companies but that does not seem to be the case.

It’s not just BCR that is struggling to ship guitars from overseas. I just gave up trying to get a replacement for one of those Epiphone Korina exp’s after the the first one I got arrived damaged. Been waiting 7 months and the dealer never got another one.

It’s pretty silly that mass produced guitars can be so hard to get…

Man, I love BCR, but the fanbois on the Facebook group are an ornery bunch. Phoebe Bridgers had the temerity to play a Warlock on SNL, not once (solo), but twice (this time with boygenius), and apparently because she's not dude-bro metal enough (and a mincing socialist at that, who knew?), it's just the end of the world.

Man, they really wanna see the brand die, don't they? Of course, there is also the "Facebook sucks" factor to account for.

There's just something about the legacy American brands that just bring out the worst dipshits. The more niche the brand the deeper the well.

Not saying all the fans are dicks, there's just a greater level of dicktitude to the more dickish in the bunch.

I don't know who Phoebe Bridgers is, but I had to Google it because it's awesome that someone is playing Warlocks. I love that she tapes up the edge of the neck pickup, presumably to avoid the high E getting caught during huge dive bombs?

Will have to listen to her music when I have the chance.

Maybe she is just playing such an extreme shape to be ironic? But perhaps anyone playing such a shape in 2023 is being ironic whether intentional or not.

And now, Black Friday is almost here. I noticed Sweetwater changed their disclaimer for receiving "more BCRs" to "within days"....a few days ago. But they can't even name which models.

I suspect they won't have any of the Legacys I want this year....:blahblah:

Yeah I fully don't expect to get a Chuck Stealth this year at all. Previously the status was that more was coming within a few days and now it says, "We expect more from B.C. Rich in just a few weeks. Order today to reserve yours now, risk-free."

It's possible they got a handful recently and now are waiting again for more. Not going to bother to ask my sales dude until it's been like > 6 months. I will be surprised if I get one at all before BC Rich goes out of business or something.

Phoebe Bridgers playing BC Rich guitars isn’t even a new thing, she’s been doing it for years—just goes to show how clueless those people are. She’s probably the highest profile artist playing them in a decade, if not longer. Her and Erik Rutan are about the only two people playing them these days I actually think are cool that make me want one.

There is a very vocal minority that is just always online and always angry that “things aren’t the way they used to be” 40+ years ago.

Phoebe has over 10million monthly listeners and a single song with over 300 million plays.

BCR should be so lucky she seems to like the instruments, lol.

You know how many “supermetalFred” on FB has? Zero ‘cause he sucks.
