I've added quite a few ESPs this year, but just randomly finding this one a lot of fun. For all the talk of multiscale 8s and stuff, I basically wound up viewing straight scale 8s as inferior instruments just because they're not as over-engineered as some of the latest offerings. But actually it's more fun to play than my old .strandberg* or my Oni. The Oni was basically about as good of a guitar as is possible, but 29.5" is asking for a pretty heavy commitment there.

Of course it'll probably be refinished...
OMFG I love it. What is the scale length?

^always loved the look of the old school Horizons. I've always wanted one in Gun Metal Blue after seeing one in a store window about 25 years ago. Congrats to you

Ok, so anyone can just ask Jason (@narad) and he will tell you, but I spend a little too much time looking at guitars.
These photos are a result of months of searching for this blue beast, which I finally found today.
The rest are for your enjoyment, as they're some of the best ESP's ever produced.

I feel like the M-II always plays second fiddle to the Horizon. My favorite ESPs I've ever owned have been fairly basic M-II bolt-ons and neck-thrus.

DAMN! Just when I think I'm basically done with Super Strats... that older Jackson style pointed headstock just WORKS. It's one of the few shapes that I would enjoy regular orientation instead of reversed. This purple one is absurd. Damn. Really, damn this web forum.
