Built by Yuki Hayashi of Free The Tone, this is quite possibly the most comprehensive rig I've ever seen.

Ken's full racks. Right side is mostly stompbox based while left is mostly delays and reverbs. 2 TC 2290s!

First rack drawer of pedals. Looks like it's for cleans and light drives.

Second rack drawer. More drives and low impedance pedals.

Third drawer for Univibe and EQ.

Lowest drawer on the right rack, all power supply and midi units, and all modded by Free The Tone.

Sitting on top of the left rack, Flight Time delay (as if the 2290s weren't enough), TC1140 wireless.

Full view of top rack. Suhr ML-100, TC wireless, tuner and mute switch.

3 Rocktron All Access boards to control this gargantuan beast. Controlled by Ken's tech.

Ken's clean tones are all from a Fender Deluxe Reverb with a Jensen speaker.

Kerry White and Fender cabs used for the rig.

Another Kerry White cab.

Ken's onstage gear. Univibe expression, Vox Wah, TC Tuner and mute switch. Simple and refreshing actually.

Both Univibe and Vox Wahs are of vintage kind.

The "Small Stage" pedalboard. Basically an extremely stripped down version of the main rig.

The rack for the small stage rig. More delays and FTT custom stuff.

Fender Super Sonic heads, used for the small stage rig.

Sub stage Fender cab.

It's a huge rig that's obviously meant for arenas and stadiums. Given L'Arc en Ciel's 25 year history, the rig is justified to recreate the sounds from a large discography.

That rig would be vastly different if he had to tote it around himself.

I don't think there's any risk of that happening.

And to be fair, outside the L'arc gravy train, Ken has a more humble setup. This was his 2013 rig for his solo shows.

Kinda like a proto version of his "small stage" rig. Still boutique in nature of course.

Ken is my favorite guitar player after Marty Friedman... the crazy thing is that I don't have any idea why he has such a massive rig. His actual tone is pretty much meat and potatoes rock tone.

Good to see he's channeling his inner '90's Petrucci rig fanboy
