New Katy Perry. Hopefully.

Also random soul releases. Allen Stone and the like.
Not to forget more awesome stuff that I have no idea about it existing.

Devin Townsend (three albums coming)
David Maxim Micic - Bilo 4.0
Slipknot (might not even happen, but I can always hope that they have enough built up anger and shit that the album might not suck, its looking grim though)
Slice the cake - (I defend that they are the only deathcore band work giving any shits over)

Main one is Mastodon for me - I really want to see what direction they take after the Hunter. Personally hoping they tone down the experimentation a bit and deliver another CTS-quality concept album, though don't get me wrong, I love their new sound.

As always, hoping that In Flames turn away from this alternative "let's sell fvck tons of records" approach and get some good ol' melodeath back into their music, though as each album is released my hope is getting vainer and vainer.

I know it's ridiculous and I'm probably more likely to wake up being spooned by Tsar Nicholas II, but we can always hope that Jari and the rest of the crew surprise us by releasing Time II. :D

I am looking forward to:

Behemoth, Periphery, Ne Obliviscaris (!!!!!), La Dispute, Cult Leader, Crippled Black Phoenix, Whitechapel, Animals As Leaders, Skyharbor, Dir En Grey and probably lots of others I forgot.

I have especially high hopes for Ne Obliviscaris. IMO Portal of I is the best album since 2001.

I'm looking forward to a lot, but Tool would be my most anticipated. This next one will probably be their last one, so hopefully there will be years of touring to support.

In Flames is my most anticipated album of 2014. They are, and always will be, the best to me.

Avichi - "Catharsis Absolute" (This is a close 2nd place)
Immortal - TBA (rumored)
Mayhem - TBA
Drudkh / Winterfylleth - "Thousands of Moons Ago / The Gates" (Split)
Tombs - "Savage Gold"
Sunn O))) / Ulver - "Terrestrials"
Wolves in the Throne Room - TBA
Alcest - "Shelter"
Agalloch - TBA
Entombed - "Back To the Front"
Aborted - "The Necrotic Manifesto"
Nachtmystium - "The World We Left Behind" (Even though Blake Judd is a drug addict, fan robber, he makes great music)
Behemoth - "The Satanist"
Cynic - "Kindly Bent to Free Us" (I thought "Lion's Roar" was meh, but still excited)
Overkill - TBA
Dark Funeral - TBA (If they find a permanent vocalist and record it)
Venom - TBA
Vader - "Streight to Hell"
Triptykon - "Melana Chasmata"
Aurora Borealis - "Worldshapers"

Instant buys would be
Mastodon - expecting something very different from The Hunter, which had a lot of chops and was fun, but a reaction against CTS from the band
Raunchy - caaaatchy tuuuunes pleeeease to get lodged in my brain
Torche - More dirty guitars and euphoric vibes, they're brilliant, think their masterpiece is to come
Tool - The big one, I'd listen to it non-stop for months guaranteed. They seem to be working very hard on it now, as it could be their last studio album I'm sure they'll get it right, will be stunning
