Thanks guys. It's really killer. Sounds super br00t4lz. I have the PU's also in a basswood guitar. The basswood is more "bassy" and not as "in ur face".

..So the mahogany MTM1 is good for playin' Slipknot haha! :D That's funny..

I always loved the design of those guitars. I wish Ibanez would produce some non-signature six strings with the locking fixed bridge. That really is a great concept.

Happy NGD. May the riffs be with you:hbang:

Thanks duders.

Yea it's really heavy - must be the mahogany body and all the paint ;)

The locking FX Edge III bridge works really well, and the body only requires minor routing - so you got a big mass left. The only thing I'd change, is to give it some kinda adjustable saddles, for individual string height :p

Cool guitar, congrats!

I'd really want to hear how those Mick Thomson Blackouts sound like. I love the regular Blackouts.

Besides the massive "seven" inlay, these are awesome. And they play fantastically too. Mick might go overboard on the "sig" side of things, but he knows how to be a part of a great design.
