So, bout 18 months ago I brought a Jackson Custom Shop Pagan Gold Adrian Smith (the original NGD Thread is on here somewhere), the guitar was gorgeous but 6 months later to feed some Un-quenching GAS for a Floral Jem I traded it plus cash money for my original year floral Jem.

Fast forward a year or so and the Adrian Smith is still for sale at Guitar Religion, the company I traded her with. Couple of emails later an offer is agreed and last week I got back my Jackson Adrian Smith, which poor thing had been lying resting in her case untouched and unplayed for over a year.

Happy Ending? Well this girls story has another little twist, another little journey to go on before she truly come home. Soon she arrived I re boxed her up and sent her on to Phil at Spectrum Guitar Finishes to get a posh new paint job. Originally I wanted to go with a Candy Fender Mystic Blue, but speaking to Phil its a very hard colour to find but he recommended Royal Blue instead which he can work some of his magic to get it as close as possible to mystic blue. The sample pic he sent me of the colour is at the bottom of the thread. Very Cool colour I think. So I was sold and she went off to Phil last week. Cannot wait to get her back tbh. I love Phil's work all the other guitars he has refinished for me have been amazing, I cannot recommend him enough to anyone tbh. Really nice guy too.

Anyway, in the mean time here are the pics of the guitar as is before going to Phil (as I didn't have time to take new pics these are the pics form Guitar Religion of the actual guitar, I deleted the pics I had of her from my original NGD ages ago)

Holy jesus freak in a satanists lavatory, can't wait to see it done but that gold is pretty awesome, didn't you have a black guitar anywhere that needed a new face?

#1 That guitar looks fantastic
#2 That's a super cool story that you ended up buying your guitar back
#3 I think the gold finish is already pretty sick. Although the blue looks incredible too so it will look killer hot either way :)

Congrats!
