Let me know when you're ready, Doom. I'll see if it ties in with my holidays or visits to Perth and show you around town.

Nice one, Partridge. Good gear!
Hollow, I believe it's for someone in blunt force trauma.

Cool. Any idea what the specs are? It's not going on that blue quilt top, is it?

Six string, Multiscale, fretless bass. Doing an interesting finish on that one, and hoping to have it all completed within two weeks. Only the fretboard is complete so far (minus radius).

The blue one is a six string "regular" guitar :) Should ship out Tuesday, along with a lefty eight string Multiscale to Italy. Wednesday finish up one of the ghost builds I do, then two more Multi's to LA the next week, as well as a lefty six stringer covered in blood to Sydney (i think), and a pointy V to Queensland.

Then I take a month off to try and relax, and then straight back into it with a goal of one custom every 1.5 weeks for the rest of the year :wallbash:

I really need an assistant!

One of the many reasons I love this brand.

Two guitars for two go getting, stop at nothing, bad arse, whipper snappers. Jamie is 12. Micheal 15. They said three years ago they would get a pair of Ormsbys. By god have they done that, and Multiscales! Worked their arses off and saved the money themselves. I was so impressed I gave them the biggest discount I've ever offered so they can spend their hard earned dollars on new amps.

I want kids like these two. Both are ahead in their school, respectable, athletic and already have careers (actors, you'll see Micheal on the Jay Leno show and a blockbuster due out real soon. Jamie volunteered her time for a domestic violence advert whilst all other actors demanded a fee... I think she earnt more than me that year from appearance fees when the charity ran ONLY her advert).

I met them in 2009 in LA after they found me on YouTube. They organised a meet to show me their playing, and I thought I'd do it just to inspire them, and why not... Little bit of time out of my holiday to get some youngsters more inspired by guitars. Best family ever! Mum and Dad have become good friends since. Welcome to the family!

'Turquoise stone inlaid into aluminium which is then inlaid into flame maple binding. Note the blue stained and natural flame purfling also.'

So who's the mysterious ss.org member that met Perry Ormsby on a bus in LA whilst perusing his wares on here? :)

Thanks for the east coast business cards, Perry. Perfect choice!

Two incredible Ormsby multiscales that have made their way into the hands of two very hard working kids.

Pablo Salinas: incredible guitarist rocking one of the first ever multiscales built by Ormsby guitars. I think there's a bit of jealousy going on in this pic.

I recently asked Pablo Salinas how he goes about choosing what guitar to play ie when would he use his Ormsby rather than his Parker and vice versa.

"it´s easy. Once you get used to the Ormsby, you won´t get used to anything else, Mat. But I love my 94´Parker guitar too, although my Multiscale have even better sustain. The creamy sound of the Parker PAF is perfect for strings section sound, and The Perry Ormsby guitar is perfect for soloing, and it has 29 frets, perfectly intonation, and unique playability. I´m proud to own Perry´s own guitar, dated 08´. Transition to fanned fret layout was a snap, and string tension is constant throughout the fretboard, which is great for solos. I think is the best guitar I ever had. Let´s see what´s next in Ormsby guitar atelier...maybe a multiscale with infinite sustain pickups? lol to my friends @ Perth, by the way , I want a t-shirt Perry offer to me....best wishes, my friend!"
