Just a teaser to keep you in the loop...

The Ormsby Guitars CustomShop Guitar giveaway will be based on:
1. Fun - All entries have to be FUN!
2. Originality - You'll choose what you do to enter. It can be anything! You won't need to show off your shredding ability... that's boring.
3. Effort - You may not be the best player, hell... I'm not, so you can make an effort in another way (you'll choose!).

That is all for now. I'll give examples of some ideas (which if you do them, will not get you any points for originality) to get you all started. Kind of like a "this is the idea of the comp". Mostly, it has to be a fun competition.

Voting will be by a panel of Ormsby owners... the family! Value of the guitar will be at least $3400... maybe more if I get too excited

Dude, that guitar is so f$&ked up in the flesh. Between that and the steam punkish custom I decided to go and get a Transformers themed custom ordered.

From memory, Ormsby's custom shop price starts at $2800. Pretty much every order always goes beyond that. His waitlist is closed until next year though.

Any idea who did the design work? i.e. did he just tell Perry to do a steam punk guitar, or did he participate a lot in it?

If I remember correctly, Andy left Perry to do whatever he wanted with this build - complete creative freedom.
