I find it strange that the ONLY email address you guys receive email is at info@sabreguitars. Do you guys have the ability to sort emails? Anyway of knowing a PAID customer is asking for updates (on the updated timeline you stated) and the pictures THAT I WAS OFFERED, I did not request this.
A very simple customer service practice is to under promise and over deliver.
I was told I would get pics in November. Hasn't happened. Everyone was informed here on SS.org to send emails directly to info@sabre, I've received no responses. (lame, how about giving paying customers a DIRECT email that you can easily sort/receive and return communication from paying customers?) or how about answering the phone, or maybe, return a phone call?
So far, the only way to get a response is to post on this thread.
Your customer service sucks right now. Have a good time at the show in February. I hope your acoustic rosette work drives a lot of business your way.
I've told Chris via email that I don't care if this takes four years AS LONG AS HE COMMUNICATES. Wanna take a 6 month vacation? Go ahead, but let me know the due date moved BEFORE the vacation, don't let shit stew while your out ....ing around.
Chris has set the expectation levels here, and then not met those expectations. How frickin difficult is it to answer emails, and answer phone calls? WTF.
Every time I visit this site now I get pissed, and I'm tired of feeling that I need to walk on egg shells regarding this topic of slacker luthiers.
Well - as I'm sure everyone can imagine, its been a pretty hefty christmas with loads to do! Pics ahoy! More to follow in the next few days as each guitar gets finished and ships!
Chris - I've gotten to your e-mail and replied mate. Please give me a few days to get to e-mails guys I'm only human!
Shayne - There must be some kind of e-mail issue as we haven't received anything from you.
Feb/March Update:
I don't think I've ever been more exhausted, but its been completely worth it! Over the past 6 weeks we've completed more and better guitars than we ever have before.
We've also redesigned and upgraded a load of our workshop jigs, tools and fixtures which have improved and streamlined many of our core processes such as fretboard radiusing, fret slot cutting, binding and oil finishing.
At the end of February we also attended The Guitar Show in Birmingham which, as well as being a fantastic weekend from a business point of view was also a wonderful opportunity to catch up with some amazing people.
Mainly though, its been about guitars, guitars and more guitars. Here are just a selection of the instruments we've completed this month:
One of my favourite inlays of recent times. Sometimes its the simple ideas which can turn out to be the most beautiful. Also - of course - no filler required.
We've updated our Back Plate designs for 2015 to carry our Brand and Model Numbers:
Spent some awesome time hanging out with BlackMachine mastermind Doug Campbell at the Guitar Show.
But most of all, we made more guitars...

I was getting responses over the weekend about a new build. I doubt Christian can be in the workshop and answer emails at the same time. I suspect he'll knuckle down communications in the evening and weekends?
