Is this back in your hands now? IIRC last I read you had sent it back to Dylan for something, and just curious if he sent it back to you.
Dylan still has it. It was supposed to go to Kyle from Vitriol as he wanted to use it on parts of the new album then I think their tour in Europe didn't happen so he wasn't able to pick it up from Dylan.

I sadly don't have any at the moment, but I would agree that the Warrior is probably the best aesthetically, though I do like RR models/Vs more because of the complete unrestricted fret access.

Sully Supernova I think is the second best Warrior kinda shape, it would be cool if more places were doing riffs on them imo

After seeing all of the pretty V guitars here..
I would love to get an ESP Arrow or SV-II at some point, but they seem to have dropped the higher end seven stringers in those shapes.
So, this is out for delivery today.

Recently got a 2000 Epiphone Goth Explorer and unfortunately, did not get along it with the Explorer shape, this was my 3rd attempt at it.

Ended up trading it for a 2003 Epiphone Goth Flying V with a tremolo, which is much better for me, but I still highly dislike the '58 V shape (I've also had an Epiphone '58 Korina), hopefully, I can find a '60s or '70s Flying V later on.

Did those feel hollow to you? I had an Epi goth V and Explorer back in the day and they did not feel like solid wood. They either felt like hard plastic or like semi hollow wood or something. They resonated oddly and I just couldn't bond with either one.

I got the E-II Arrow 7 today. It shipped from Illinois to Indiana, so was here overnight. Except for one small adjustment to the action to my preference, it plays like an ESP factory setup. The 66-7 and 57-7 pickups are great, similar to the 81x and 60x, but a touch spongier in a pleasant way.

The fretwork and finish are flawless, exactly what I expect from Japanese craftsmanship!

The Explorer felt extra light, the V feels great though.

Oh this thread is one of the most important here on SSO. Utter timeless metal class in everyone’s tastes. I condone to the fullest. I need to take newer pics but to contribute:

I had an Ormsby Metal X, which was rad, but it moved on to acquire more ESP madness. But I also and forever will have the Schuldiner Stealth:

I still plan on nabbing a Jackson USA/CS Warrior, USA KV or Double Rhoads, an ESP EX or MX, and RIP Star Destroyers. The D3 Dime Slime is the white whale, but that may never happen with the way the market is. Pointy is the only way to go for Death Metal in my arrogant opinion.
