I ordered more V30s and G12T75s the other day, but after listening to tons of 212 vs 412 cab videos today, I think I decided that it is time to quit messing around and get 2 good oversized 412 cabs. They just have THE sound I want.Speakers and tubes.
I have always wondered why more pedals dont use sliders. You would think people would enjoy that for tactile feel and tweaking.
Not pictured, but I love the Walrus Ages. I run it after my other distortion/OD and play around with the blend knob a lot. It's awesome. There’s a Walrus sale for Memorial Day on top of the Fundamental series already being on sale so, I impulse bought these three. I’ve never had a fuzz before so I’m most excited for that.

Yeah, I know they dont make that many of them either. I know Freyette talked about looking into see if sliders even existed that he could use before he created the Synergy modules. They're more expensive, harder to cut an enclosure for, and harder to mountPots you just PCB mount and drill a hole, sliders need a slot etc etc etc
Good point. I wonder how Walrus can offer those pedals so cheapThey're more expensive, harder to cut an enclosure for, and harder to mountPots you just PCB mount and drill a hole, sliders need a slot etc etc etc
I have considered one of those heads, but I would really prefer 100W, and one reason I like the Syn 2 is so I can go stereo, and using one of the heads wouldn't allow that option. I have wondered how those heads are though.@Shask thanks for the reminder. I may get a Syn50 as a backup.
Yeah, my house is a dustbowl, and I always worry my MXR 10 Band is gonna get all scratchy.Dust and dirt seem to get in to the open slider bits more easily. That's always been a slight negative in my view for a slider option.
Or pull a Max CavaleraGet a table cloth or something and lay it over your pedals.
I would need a tarp over my whole house, lol.Get a table cloth or something and lay it over your pedals.
