    No i don't either, i can see him using strandberg* as an template of what to do and that $3k+ is probably the inevitable price but saying it would be unacceptable for him to produce a guitar sub $2500 is quite laughable. It seems to be the year of the custom shop production guitars. :lol:

    Pretty much my thoughts on the specs. Not sure about a rosewood neck, would push the price up but i can easily see them being maple.     What actually is his base spec? Everyone has on opinion on the 5k tag but that could make a huge difference to whether someone feels its worth it. I actually think the price rise was a bit of both that people are willing to pay the cost and it could give an obvious price/quality divide...

    I've seen some bengals with the neck single coil before. If it is an old ESP then the neck pocket tends to have some sort of marking so you might want to pop the neck off next time you restring.

    My dad constantly played Santana so that got me into the guitar but i found System Of A Down through and my older sisters boyfriend not long after and that just opened my eyes to the possibilities.
