I am planning on purchasing an Ibanez RG321MH in the near future, and I haven't exactly heard the best things about the old style bridge (which this one has) and was planning on replacing it with a Hipshot.
What I need to know is:
What size bridge do I need?
Will I have to drill new holes in...
I'm somewhat new to doing guitar repair/maintenance and I was wondering if anybody would be able to direct me somewhere that would help me do a basic setup (truss rod, string height, REAL basic shit) and fretboard/fretwire cleaning and stuff.
If anybody could help, that'd be awesome.

I have a lot more favorites, but I don't want to clog up the thread. :)
I guess just your typical chuggawugga (metalcore, deathcore) type stuff with a fair amount of lead mixed in.
Also didn't you have/mod the living hell out of one of these?
Has anybody heard anything about specs or price on this?
I read about it in
http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/general-music-discussion/195539-acacia-strain-2012-interview-dl-new-song-week.html
and now I'm curious.
Honestly, I don't really like active pickups, but I might just go for them this time around.
The only problem I'd really have is picking out what pup I'd need for the style of music I play.
From what I've seen, there's an abundance of Ibanez RG1077XL/2077XL's in Europe, so if you get the chance, look at a few of those, I've heard a lot of good things about them.
I've considered getting these quite a bit. Would you have any other ideas as to what would go good in alder?
Also how much does a Tremel-No run, anyways? I can't access quite a few sites, seeing as how I'm on at school.
Have a free bump, guys.
I would try out, since we both live in Tucson, but I don't have the guitar or skill required, but I'd really like to see you guys get another guitarist!
I actually had this same dillemma, but reversed, a few months back, I just decided to stick to both. But be warned, drums are definitely going to get expensive fairly quick.
Honestly, the best advice I can give is to just keep an eye out on the 'bay, you never know what you'll find.
In fact, I saw a used LTD H-207 (?), one of the old cock-stock ones, for about $250ish, but I think the posting's expired now.
But seriously, you'll find some of the best deals there.

if anybody could help, that would be awesome!
I've really been needing a new guitar and I just want to know what I'm getting with this, and any tips from fellow Stagemaster 7 owners would be awesome!
This is kind of a two-part post.
I'm getting a Stagemaster 7, and I have a few questions.
First: what wood is the body?
Second: based on first question, what pickups (passive or active, no matter) would you recommend?
Third: How exactly do I block a floyd rose?
Well it is bent, but it receives no signal.
I hope he can either find one to buy in time or borrow Diego of Volumes' Axe-FX, but I dunno how he's gonna get all of his patches on there.
Aw man, this is shitty.
I was scrolling through my news feed, and apparently Delta Air broke Marc's Axe-FX Ultra and now he has nothing to play through on the EU tour unless someone can give him a hand.
I mean, how do you even do that with the handles there?
