My only experience so far with Ibanezrules was when I had to buy a new locking nut for my RG550xx, and it was great. I (like an idiot) just told Rich that I needed a new locking nut for an RG550, not an RG550xx, it came in and didn't fit. So I called him and told him, and he was super nice about...
I had a mini rec, and it had to be cranked to sound decent, and the volume was hard to control IMO. I have a 5150 III 50 watt, and it sounds killer quite, and loud, if you're budget can handle that's what I'd get.
I can't speak on the Carvin, or Sheceter, since I have never tried either, but. I have a 5150 III 50 watt, and I've used a Thrasher quite a bit. Despite the Thrasher being made in China, it is built like a tank. As far as tone goes, the 5150 III has more gain on tap, (more than anyone would ever...
If I were in your position I would go with the Ibanez. Because you have already played it and liked it. Where I live a KM-7 would run around $1,000, and the Ibanez around $1,600, so the Ibanez just seems like a better deal too.

Personally I'd pick the TAM10, because I need a neck pickup, I have fairly small hands so I'd probably have trouble with the scale length, and part of the reason I traded my RGA8 was the bridge, and the M80M has the same bridge. And I'm a Tosin fanboy.

I own a 5150 III 50 watt, It sounds great at low volumes and high volumes, and it's really versatile, I have no problems playing at a low volume with it (even though I generally use my Kemper for practicing). I've used a pod hd, and they do sound really good for the money, if you aren't...
I got a Kemper a few weeks back and love it. The other guitarist in my band has an Axe Fx II, they are both fantastic units, I would like to have all the effects and routing options of the Axe, but the simplicity of the Kemper is hard to beat. And I find myself really liking the effects in the...
I'm sorry to hear about your bad experiences. A $250 guitar should be playable out of the box, however you can't expect it to play great out of the box, and you can't expect it to be cosmetically perfect, that's why it's a $250 guitar.
