    This is the route I would take ^^^ If I remember correctly the Schecter Hellraiser C8 had a short saddle for the lowest string for this very reason.

    I've actually noticed this when people send me an offer and I respond back with some variant of counter offer and its like my sending them a message magically deletes their account and they are never heard from again I just assume that's a resounding "no" in those cases. :lol:
