So, my goals for working out is hitting the golden ratio (that Greek god, Henry Cavil physique), and for me, that means 18" arms and calves. At the moment, my arms are 16" and my legs are 17".
I'm trying to figure out a workout plan where I can actually hit my goals instead of getting depressed...
I've tried googling it, but Guy Mann-Dude guitar aren't the most descriptive key words to put in google. Is it just one of those weird ass 80s guitars like a Carvin V220, or a complete custom job?
So since we don't talk about gear enough...
https://www.sevenstring.org/threads/there-are-far-too-many-non-guitar-non-gear-non-music-related-topics-on-sso-lately.365868/
Just curios, do we all still agree that the official SSO rig is a used Prestige, tube screamer and a 5150 adjusted...
I'm gonna go ahead and point out black guitars, because let's face it, black guitars with either EMG 81/85 or 60, or JB/59 walked so our guitars nowadays can run.
Eerie Dess, I swear Jackson is the only company I shop based on finishes.
I know this probably won't apply to a lot of people on here, but I'm fairly polyjamorus, and felt like jamming some stoner/desert/whatever the hell it's called, I don't do genres...but I saw this video where Josh Homme was playing on his neck pickup
and I have a 70s Gibson with a shot bridge...
This came up the other day when I was talking to my buddies who also used to be in bands.
I know there was one time the band I was in was used to a certain setup, sound guy, all that shit, and then we had a different one and nothing worked right. They were freaking out, I was like Ima take a...
I've always been curious, I can sing, but between not knowing keys and being a bass, haven't spent that much time in bands singing.
It's my goto key if you ask me to sing something, so I'm just curios what it is.
The thread on Max Weinberg's son not drummer for Slipknot anymore when I didn't even know Joey was dead made me realize....I'm getting old. I mean, I'm not old, I'm 32 I just don't know how to keep up with music these days.
Hell, I find about about bad ass songs because of stuff like this...
So has anybody ever been looking for a new band to listen to and you decide to go look up who inspired your favorite bands and checked them out? Don't get me wrong, I love my BLEGHs as much as everyone else, but blame it on the tism, sometime I want to know what inspired the blegh. Also why I...
Took a trip to the deer camp a couple weeks ago, and we were trying to level a deer stand. We needed to dig out under the legs and where trying to figure out how we were going to pick up around 4-500 pounds worth of deer stand without a tractor. I basically dead lifted that shit, and apparently...
Maybe its because I played the OG Resi 4 when it was new, and since then I've decided to
That game was easy as shit. I went for normal because for once I got it on PC because I finally figured out my wife won't play it, and I suck using a controller. I died once because I didn't look at the...
My wife and I have been arguing over this. She's a Beatles fan, and I do agree that for the time it was pretty hard, it's the first punk song. I mean they're yelling over loud ass amps, hitting the stings so hard the low E is going out of tune, and "I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON ME FINGERS"
I mean...
So I've been working out, and I can't seem to get my left bicep to keep up with my right one. So say I do 5 sets of 10 curls, I'll add in another 2-3 sets with my left arm. I'm to the point where I'd waiting 3 days between doing arms because of how hard I'm pushing my left arm.
I mean I've...
I finally get why Goku was always hungry.
So I downloaded an app to track my macros, and it says for me to to lose weight I need 2500 calories, 160g (232g) of carbs, 255g (370g) of protein, and 99g (144g) of fat, parentheses is what it gets bumped to after my daily activity. The only time I've...
Obviously guitars and stuff like Crybabies without knobs are excluded.
With my amps I'll tweak them a little while I'm playing even though I stay around the same settings, but this thread made me realize I've been using the same overdrive, with the same settings on it since the mid to late...
So it's been a while since I've been able to play guitar, and I don't really ever get to practice anymore due to being an adult. Usually this means I go for stuff I can play over learning the stuff I want to play, because I don't have time to learn it and I just kinda sight read guitar pro for...
I know I'm not the only Stranger Things fan on here. With the whole favorite song to pull you out thing going on, is anybody else trying to figure out what the hell solo he's playing?
Honestly, it reminds me more of the bridge from Man On The Silver Mountain than anything anybody's suggesting...
I'm sure we all remember the video about how to get the keys to the Lamborghini when youtube first started to be a thing
I'd pretty much forgot about him by this point, but MAB actually seems like he'd be pretty cool to hang out with.
