    I talked to someone at DiMarzio this morning, told him what the issue was, and he said that all their 7-string bridge pickups were spaced for trems. I should be good to go when the pickup arrives.

    Funnily enough, the 1527 through the Helios is very much the Vai “Passion & Warfare”/Whitesnake era tone. Über modded Marshall tone. Definitely not a modern sounding amp.(not a bad thing btw…)

    Friedman 2x12 is really good for Marshall-voiced amps

    My Friedman 4x12 works great with all of my amps, except the Randall Satan and ‘97 Mesa Triple Rectifier.(both are my non-Marshall voiced amps) Not surprising.
