    Yep It's all due to the pickup set (how it interacts with that particular wood). The Nazgul simply doesn't do that well in swamp ash. It's better in mahogany I've found. I've had 3 KM-7 guitars with that set and I pulled them out of each one. Let us know how the D-Sonic works for you :)

    My bad Going based off of Thomann prices: MK-3 is €1,590-€1,690 and MK-2 is €1,290-€1,330. If they offered the MK-1, it would be fair if it was somewhere between €890-€1,000 imo. Right about the same price as the "Standard" version of the MK-3 (the one without stainless steel frets and such)...

    You can get a MK-II for that price. $1000 USD max is a good price for a new MK-1. In fact, there's a new white one for $899 on Reverb right now. I bought my brand new Lambo Orange MK-1 for like $675 on sale actually. I do recommend going for a MK-2 if you can, I find them to be much nicer...

    I'd probably go with number 2. I have no doubt Josh has improved on making profiles since pack 1 so they'll most likely be even better than pack 1 (which is still amazing). I only got to try 3 of the pack 2 profiles but they were great. I'm pretty sure pack 2 has more profiles than pack 1 does...

    An open Google Doc would probably work. Just list the one you recommend and what amp(s) you like it with. A thread is not a bad idea it's just that having a separate one for that would get messy pretty quick and all of the good recommendations would be lost in the mix.
