The fives and six are from Chris Stambaugh. The fours are Warmoth.
(The six is for sale - you'd think after selling two previous six strings because they were too big for me I would have learnt my lesson. Having Chris re-build me the same thing as a five.)
If they pluck some relative unknown out of nowhere the power dynamic is different. Maybe they think they're more likely to get someone willing to drop everything whenever they need them that way.
The Milwaukee area stealthily has some great stores. The Dave's in MKE is very nice.
You know which one is my favorite, though? The Music-Go-Round in Greenfield. This place has SO much stuff, old and new, cheap and expensive, random and oddball. I love it so much.
One nice thing about the Behringer options (X32, XR18) is that instead of using a splitter like the ART S8 you can send a split digitally to a Midas 4816-O over Ultranet. Saves buying a couple of splitters and a LOT of cabling.
I have a setup that's just an XR18, a 4816-O and a pile of the...
Getting close to finally installing the Keith Merrow set into my RG752FX, debating how to wire it. Should I go:
* 5-way switch (neck hum, neck single, both hum, both single, bridge hum) with p/p voice on volume and p/p HF tilt on tone
* 3-way switch with p/p coil tap on volume and p/p voice on...

There's a slot at the base of the neck for what I can only assume would be truss rod access.
FWIW, I pre-ordered one from Sweetwater and they said they're expecting them in January.
I did this with my RG752FX. It popped up on eBay (via multiple sellers simultaneously,) I found it on Ishibashi & bought it from them direct for half what it was listed for by the scalpers. The guitar showed up two days later.
I’m about to close on a house with a studio space that’s going to be a lot smaller than where I’m currently at. I had been planning on a 50W Stealth or something - and I still may once offsite rehearsal studios are situated - but I’d like to put something together small I can leave plugged in...
Not sure if anyone cares, but I was curious about the specifics regarding the built-in gate on the Iconic and James Brown was answering questions in Ola's youtube comments, so...
Interesting!
Another dumb question: on the 50w stealth how necessary is having a gate in the effects loop? My old 6505 combo had a ton of preamp noise when gained up so it felt pretty necessary there...
