    Any particular brand for a 500k pot?

    I didn't think it mattered whether you used a log or linear pot for either the volume or tone. Either will work for either control. Reason being, they are pretty much exactly the same thing, the only difference being where on the 1-10 scale 50% is. Please correct me if I'm missing something.
