    Jackson/Charvel Owners Club

Just got one of these, the American Series SL2MGHT, and I love the neck and the feel of the fretboard...it is pure awesomeness, and the satin finish on the neck feels so good! Changed the EMG's to the new Duncan alt.metal Blackouts...gotta see how they are once I get to play more. But all in...

ESP Owners Club-Show Us Your ESPs!

Had to google 'Elephant's Foot' for that...😅 But yeah, I picked the guitars from there...and we are all ok...was worth it 🤓

Gotta post these two beauties here...even though the picture quality is what it is 🤷‍♂️😅

    ESP vs E-II neck profiles...different?!

Hi people, I was just about to buy a new E-II Horizon NT7 or M-2 7 and was surprised to be really disappointed in the neck profiles on both that I tried. They were really thick and chunky compared to what I remember from ESP's that I've played. I used to have an ESP Horizon FR and tried a...

Looking for a good Distortion or Overdrive pedal to go with my amp and 7 String?

I give my recommendations for Horizon Devices Precision Drive or Maxon OD808, for boosting and tightening your amps distortion channel. And if you want more gain and distortion right out of the pedal then EVH 5150 OD might do the trick...could work ok with your amps clean channel to give proper...

Help me sort out my pedal board

You might need a noise gate also...or is it something you left out intentionally? Isp Decimator would be the choice most probably recommend...and me too, it just works better that any other I've tried. For power check Cioks out, they are really high quality suff. I also had a BBE Supa Charger...

Yeah...a wireless would be a nice addition

NPBRD (new pedalboard rig day) with Taurus amp, Boss MS-3...

Thanks Deadpool_25 :) And to Descent, I think Taurus is quite versatile as it is...I used the EVH 5150 OD for a while as an extra channel for my six stringed guitars, but I've come to the conclusion that I don't actually need it that much. The amp has clean and distortion channels but there is...

NPBRD (new pedalboard rig day) with Taurus amp, Boss MS-3...

Ok, so posted a pic of this already in one other thread...but since I'm so excited about this, why not post it's own thread :) For some reason I'm really liking the idea of a compact rig with everything in one pedalboard, including an amplifier. I had a bigger rig already but it got too heavy...

    Boss MS-3 Multi Effects Switcher

I got a MS-3 a while ago and gotta say it's pretty amazing! And the price is really reasonable too...only thing is that I had to wait for a looooong time to get it, it was out from every where I was looking for. Finally Thomann got one that I ordered the second I noticed it :) I'm using mine in...

Any 1u/2u rack bags with space for Amplifire 12?!

Hey guys and gals! I got myself a Matrix GT1000FX power amp and an Amplifire 12. I can fit both in a backpack easily but was wondering if anyone would have any suggestion for a rack bag or case that would fit the Amplifire in a pocket or some other extra compartment? It would be nice to have...

    50w Lunchbox Metal Amp?

I'd recommend Matrix poweramps...no need to worry about lacking in power or punch and they are small and light too. I use one with my Helix and I'm really happy with it! Don't know how much there are differences in the different models of Taurus Stomp Heads, but for me at least the high gain...

    Which high-end 7-string for me?

Nice choises! How about a Jackson B7? I have one and really like it...if you are ever around Helsinki, feel free to come by and try it out! Not exatctly the specs you mentioned though. At the moment if I had the money I would go with Hapas, Ran, Blackat or Overload...they seem pretty nice!!!

Schecter Banshee Elite 7 VS Agile Custom

Can't say anything about the Agile, but found a good deal on a Banshee Elite 7 a few weeks ago and it is awesome! Love the specs and the quality is great too...definately worth a try And the pickups seem really good too...think I won't be swapping them for anything else.

    Minimalist rig?

Thanks! The Stomp head, has two channels with three switches for a separate crunch mode, boost and for muting...and it sounds huge...it uses the tubes for the front and power some how, I guess...so some sort of a hybrid. The size is actually quite ok, especially considering it is a full on amp...

    Minimalist rig?

I've written this in some other thread already but as it goes well for this thread also, I'll repeat myself :) I had an EVH 5150lll with a Boss Gt-100 that I dithced to go into something else...first I got the Helix rack with a Matrix Gt800fx poweamp, which I really like and still have. But...

2 gig rigs!? - 1 small, 1 large? Madness or sensible?

Ease of use and concistency is my main thing also...thats why I like both of my rigs now...all I need to do is plug in the power, cab cable and guitar cable. And everything is always in its place no matter what :)

2 gig rigs!? - 1 small, 1 large? Madness or sensible?

As an answer to odibrom: I found a really good deal on a used (2 weeks old) rack unit + control when going back and forth on what to buy...and at that moment LT was not out yet. And for some reason I did actually prefer to have a rack unit anyway...it's nice to have it safe inside the same...

    New amp/pedalboard day :)

Thanks! Still have to try this rig for some gigs though...but at least it sounds great in our band mix at our rehearsal place...so probably gigging will be ok as well!
