    Is getting a custom shop guitar worth it when you have a small amp?

    from my experience a crappy guitar sounds good through a good amp and a super high end guitar sounds bad through a crappy amp. An Small amp does not need to be bad though, I have a 20 watts one that I enjoy more than a 100 watts one.

    I cant decide, I like both of them. The JVM is more versatile but the Engl is nice sounding too and it has the benefit of being lightweight compared to the JVM. Which one of the two would you buy if those were your options?
