If I were you, I'd definitely be chasing up a bit to check on the progress.

It's not unreasonable to expect that the guitar would be finished within 18 months.

I should have said that there were other updates, and I have followed up (once where I hadn’t heard anything for six months). It’s been progressing, just very slowly. Just awaiting assembly and setup now.

Oh ok. Is yours a really crazy/difficult built?

No, no inlay or graphics. It’s the black body with green pinstripes a page or two back.

Strange. Well, I guess Dylan has his methods of doing things...

As long as it's actually progressing and not forgotten, it will come eventually!

Probably another 2 years for mine :erk:

Oh dear! A Dinky with this headstock but in standard config is definitely necessary. Quote received, need to pull the trigger. Nice piece of maple here waiting...

My guess is an orange resin to fill holes in knots/divots in the fretboard wood

Really? Who builds with knotty divotted fretboard wood?

I can't see it in great detail, but I'd wager it's a reference to...

Really? Who builds with knotty divotted fretboard wood?

Someone planning to use those divots for a brightly colored resin for a specific effect?

I made a nightstand drawer using a piece of wood with a large knot hole in it. Who would do such a silly thing? Me...I used the knot hole as the drawer pull...a purposeful design element.
