This makes me so happy. It's cool of them to release the digital download early. I wouldn't have pirated it even though I backed the campaign. I was patiently waiting for the official release. This sounds amazing, I can't wait to hear this stuff live.
That looks awesome. Those cobalt strings are weird at first, but you'll get used to them really quick, I did at least. I love how they sound, and I can't tell the difference between them and regular strings any more, aside from the sound.
I picked up a Godin Progression about 2 years ago. I love everything about it. Maple neck and board, trans cream body, a very classic looking strat. The HDR is a very cool feature the doesn't get enough attention IMO, that's what sold me on it.
That thing is much to classy for a plastic truss rod cover. if it were my guitar, I'd get one made of ebony to match the fretboard. Also, IMO that type of cover looks odd without a string retainer bar, I'd cut that tab off and put the screw holes right by the nut.

I'm no Schenker fan, I have absolutely no idea why it's there, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
I have also played one in store, I'll echo what the others have said. It gets really crowded after the 24th fret. It's not unplayable, but you need to be very precise to make it sound good.
This is my first major upgrade or mod to any of my guitars aside from a the odd pickup swap. I though I would document the process and share the results.
