Don't worry about it. My fretless is rosewood without epoxy and I've had no problems. That said, I play with a moderately light touch with 105-45 strings. Be sure to only use vibrato parallel to the strings like a violinist/cellist! the only real time rounds are damaging is when players use...
Thanks for all the responses :hbang:
I'm curious to hear what you've found, I've been impressed with the JB but a little underwhelmed with the jazz through my pod. I'll try them through my mesa this weekend, so we'll see.
Also, I've deleted the tone pot and repositioned the volume to...
Thanks, guys! I'm impressed by the trem so far. the only other trems I have to compare it to are a vintage 6 screw on my strat and the hilariously single locking trem on my old rg270dx. My only current complaint is that the arm goes loose on me after a few dives, I'm thinking of replacing it...

I kinda like them and kind of don't, I am a proud owner of a MM stingray that I bought new in 2001, what a great bass!

would this work on your strat? it would essentially be like flat mounting the trem, so you could easily drop to d at the tuner without unlocking anything.
Or why not just flat mount it against the body?
I was there! AAL rocked. I was standing back by the mixer, and I swear that at one moment Tosin was playing, looked up and saw me headbanging, smiled, and started headbanging too! Lol I'm just delusional, but I had a killer time. CAFO was unbelievable!
