Thanks, that helps out, I'll see about selling my GCX for that patchmate. I had posted on the voodoo forums but never really got a direct answer about this.
I have had 4 Carvin's (currently 3, one was stolen)
I really like them, and they were all the DC 127/125 style. The 'holy grail' versions were considered 'pointy' from 92-94 ish. Those are hands down the best playing guitars I've ever had my hands on. They had very thin and very flat...
But with a different midi pedal than the voodoo one?
I can't get a straight answer on what pedals out there can send Control Change messages.
My ideal setup would be my Carvin V3, with pedals ran via the GCX and have a midi pedal control the channels of the V3 with whatever pedal combo I...
Had both a 5150II and an Invader 100. Invader slayed the 5150, I felt that channel 2 was similar to the 5150 tone and I ended up using that as my main rhythm sound. I too wish I still had mine but financial troubles forced me to sell.
Yes but because I did file a police report. The dept had to contact eBay and provide documentation. Took about 2 months to get it back in my possession.
I'm talking artist rate stuff. When your band gets 3 free LTD instruments per member but you can't because none of the LTD's have lefty floyds. That sort of stuff. The Jacksons do offer lefty but that 'slight' upcharge is a lot.
I wouldn't call a 13b unreliable unless boosted with bad tuning. The NA engines can hit 200k.
I'd look for something with some lowend torque though for drifting, I'm wondering if an LS1 is heavier than the stock engine in that AE86.
