That was exactly the position I was in when I came across this. I went shopping for a new amp and just couldn’t help myself. It’s just too cool not to have.
One of these amps, having a hard time choosing, since they’re quite different, but I have been absolutely loving the Archon model in Helix native lately. and like everyone and their brother is running the 5150 III in some form anymore. Also I’ve been wanting to grab this color of the Wolfgang...
Not sure if this is the right sub forum for this, but I just bought this guitar for super cheap pretty much with the idea of doing some simple mods to it.
I figured I could just buy a pickguard from Perle like I did for my 7421 some years back, but I guess I never factored in that when they...
Black pearloid pickguard, locking tuners, and probably a good old reliable Pegasus/Sentient set for the Ibanez GRG7221M I snagged on impulse because I liked the color.
Im super impressed by it. Impossibly good fret work for the price, nice weight and balance, and as a bonus the maple fretboard...
Honestly since I mostly use the bridge pickup and some of my guitars even only have a bridge pickup... I'm saying Duncan. While I don't care for most Duncan neck pickups, I have yet to find a bridge pickup I like as much as the SH-5 Custom. My ideal pairing is the SH-5 in the bridge and Dimarzio...
The only thing that would make this better for me is if it had the hipshot contour trem and normal sized pickup routes in case I ever want to swap. Otherwise, its exactly what I've been lookingneed by Curt posted Nov 24, 2019 at 12:20 AM
If im not thrilled with the Guitarmory pickups that are coming in my GOC Materia I am seriously considering an 81-7x/60-7x and then drilling a hole for that RPC knob.
Also I bought back my Alexi 600 from my brother that has a regular 81 in it so I might end up doing a comparison of the 81 and...
I'm going to say 57 for this. It is the better lead pickup to my ears having both on hand currently, I love the 81x but it is still a little shrill in comparison to the 57. That said, the 81x is phenomenal for metalcore rhythm stuff.
