I love the tone of this guitar. I've always created djent/nu-metal tones. Any advice to achieve this tone as far as amp type / pedals etc.?
Bilmuri - Swamp Creature, The Fire Breather.
I got some inspiration to do something with this track from another user of SS. I think it sounds dope, but I'd like any crit you can give me. :D

I'm posting on this thread again, because I was drunk yesterday at 10 AM. I listened to it again and the guitars do not need adjusting. I like it all. Lol. You get your snare to come through super well and I really like that. :D
You have a great guitar tone and vocal recording. Those drums sound like absolute ass though. It sounds like you can mix too, so I'd suggest getting a better drum VST. Like a decent GGD or S2.0. I liked it, though!
It's actually too hard to gauge how anything sounds with the amount of squash you have on your Master compressor. Edit and post the song again without a master compressor. That's the only way anyone would be able to tell you what could help.
I wish I knew what kind of music you are playing, you should just share us your track so we can help you better. If it is metal, just don't use reverb on your rhythm. There is no reason for it.
I dig the song, but you are definitely clipping on your master mixer channel and it is very noticeable. Bring your master channel down like... 1.5 db and it'll sound way better.
I agree with what slan was saying, the toms need to come up with a little kick in the higher end. She nails the vox. I'd also say the snare seems a little weak. I feel like I'm hearing the same sample every time it hits. Other than those 2 things I like it, buddy.
Ha, well, Eurobass's lowest note is an Octave down from a basses standard E. I don't see myself going down that low with my 6 string baritone. :) It was well worth the money in my opinion.
1. This is not my genre, but I do think the mix is good. The only thing I can possibly say, is that you pick way too softly for metal. It seems like you had guitar lessons at some point and still retain how you were taught to pick. I can tell you that pick dynamics go a long way in metal...
Everything about this mix is great to me, except the snare. It sounds like someone popping a brown paper bag. It dies too soon. If I were you I'd go into S2.0 and add the snare to Amb mid. then change the multi channel on it to 2 where your snare is. If that doesn't help give your snare sustain...
Well, your link is dead. But, I am so glad someone else here listens to Uchu Conbini. They were so good before they broke up. I actually purchased their albums. :p
This sounds super dope. I just don't really hear any bass guitar. If the bass was behind it being louder, it would sound super Bon Appétit. I love the comp. though!
