I love my Ibby's. I've stomped on my 7321 (i know fuck me right?) and it still works perfect. Every company has factory flaws on guitars now and then, it just happens.
Peavey Pro Comm PCX U-1002 all the way. I've used it for a long time and never had a problem with it. I know a lot of people that also use it and never had a problem either. Plus it does have a full color screen! You do have to buy a rackmount kit for it though.
I've had both Furman and Monster power conditioners and i like them both. They all do the same thing pretty much, the only real difference is things like the lights and displays.
I think a 2x12 would do fine. I've seen plenty of people do it and pull it off. Although if you plan on playing more shows over time you may regret getting the 2x12 and not a 4x12. Just use your best judgment on how your going to be using it and what your plans are.
My vote.. Vader
The Vaders aren't that heavy. The only thing about them is if you pick it up by yourself with shorts on the wrong way you destroy your legs. Didn't really think about that one till after it happened...
There are a ton of custom case companies. For the most part all of them will get you a quality case. Just a few are.. Get Off My Case, Crown cases, Anvil and tons more. My only advise is to find one kind of close to you as they cost a lot of money to ship far.
I think it depends on the sound you want. I can't speak for the Orange cab but to me the Mesa and Vaders both have a distinctly different tone. They both sound great, its just what sound you like more.
Yeah well his gear isn't bad at all, its just the condition its in. I don't really see kicking him out as the first or best choice. I just need to find a way to make him give a shit about his gear more.
I have a certain person in my band that just doesn't care about his gear. Normally i wouldn't care but his equipment is constantly breaking on stage and making everyone look like a bunch of jackasses. If i try to say the slightest thing to said person though he responds by yelling and throwing...
I play guitar for Salt The Wound. We are just about to release our second full length on Rotten Records (Goatwhore, DRI and such). We're all about touring as much as we can. Check us out, let me know what you think and if you dig it come out and hang out with us!
Salt the Wound - PREORDER ARES...
I don't know if this would work in Europe or not, but when my band first started touring we would find the biggest band in the area and play a show with them. That way they take care of the venue and you know people will be there.
